Tredegar Orpheus Male Voice Choir are proud to be invited to appear at the Dedication of The Miners’ Memorial Gates in Brynbach Park on Friday the 5th July. The gates are in memory of 54 miners who lost their lives, 12 of whom were children, during the days when mining in Tredegar was at its height. A Plaque will be unveiled by Max Boyce who lost his father at the pit in Onllwyn in the Neath Valley. The ceremony starts at noon and all are welcome to attend.
